Hello family, friends, readers (ha!) and everyone else!
In NZ, at Christmas;
Kiddies run around in board shorts, sunburnt, and scraping their knees. Young adults grab ice creams or spend the daylight drinking wine on the beach. As Northerners, we see christmas without toques, scarves, snow, or hot beverages; it makes the holidays seem almost like a gimmick.
But the underlying principle is the time with family; the time for thankful reflection on the past year; the time to appreciate those that are close to you.
Also, appreciate the new friends and the new challenges you’ve met this last year. Every year counts.
To all those that couldn’t be further in distance, know that you are close in our hearts.
Merry Christmas from CanucksGoKiwi!
We love you all!!
